Bear Creek Golf Club
Bear Creek Golf Club was designed by noted architect Gary Kern and opened in 1998. With the direction of the owners, Gary Kern designed the unique championship style golf course to include 46 green and fairway bunkers, beautiful lakes, and several large creeks running throughout the course. This included the preservation of most of the trees and natural habitat. This allowed each hole to have it’s own unique features, challenges, and beauty. The course can play over 7,000 yards and is ranked as the 4th toughest public golf course in St. Louis. Tee off from any of the 4 sets of tees and land on over 25 acres of zoysia fairways. Bring your putter to master the large undulating bent grass greens and mark your scorecard lightly. The layout stretches over 150 acres with beautiful homes set back along the courses perimeter. Over the years Beer Creek has become known by most of the avid golfers as “The Home of the Grizzly”.
Bear Creek was the first 18-hole public golf course in the city of Wentzville. Although many residents and loyal patrons would like for Bear Creek to become private, the course remains as one of the premier public facilities in St. Charles County. The Pro Shop offers a great selection of golf equipment and apparel as well as annual golf passes to the surrounding homeowners and general public. Leagues, lessons, and tournaments are available to all levels of golfers and are scheduled throughout the season. The on-site driving range and short game practice facilities are open to all Bear Creek patrons. The club hosts many large corporate, private, and public golf tournaments during the daytime hours. Then will settle down at night for elegant wedding receptions, rehearsal dinners, and parties year-round. The beautiful stone clubhouse features its main dining room that seats up to 200 guests. During the summer months you’re welcome to sun yourself on the veranda overlooking the 18th green or enjoy the patio area and 19th Hole for cool drinks or a private party. Our service and small town charm at Bear Creek make “The Home of the Grizzly”, a friendly and fun place to play.

From East of Wentzville Using I-70:
Take I-70 West to exit 208 Wentzville Parkway. Turn right and proceed down the hill to the first traffic light at Pearce Blvd. Make a left there at Pearce Blvd. Continue aproximately two blocks until you reach Bear Creek Drive on your right. Turn right and continue between Walmart and Kohls. Stay on Bear Creek Drive through the subdivision until you reach the clubhouse on your left.

Turn right and continue between Walmart and Kohls. Stay on Bear Creek Drive through the subdivision until you reach the clubhouse on your left.

Rules
USGA Rules Govern All Play
Yardages are measured to the center of the green.
Home owners yards and streets are out of bounds.
Please do not hit shots or drive carts on home owners' property.
Each golfer is responsable for damages done to persons or property which results from golfers action.
Keep pace with the group ahead of you.
Play ready golf. (Hit when ready.)
Carry extra clubs when leaving your cart.
Prepare your shot while others are playing.
Line up your putt while waiting to play.
Pace of play is 2 hours and 15 mins. per 9 holes.
All players must check in with the Proshop.
Each player must have their own set of clubs.
No personal coolers or beverages allowed.
Collared shirts required. No Denim.
Obey all cart rules, signs, and street crossings. Keep carts off sidewalks.
Keep carts on path on all par 3's.
Drivers license required to operate a cart. Must be 6 or older to ride in carts.
